Temperatures Saturday are forecast to be very hot. Water and ice will be available courtesy of
American Water for all attending the race. Please come prepared with your hydration needs.
The same flat, fast, circular course will be used, racing counter-clockwise.
Entry fee for adults is $25 for the first race, $10 for additional races. Juniors race for $10.

$2.50 of each entry fee will be donated to the Self Help Closet and Food Pantry of Des Plaines.

Come join us for the Des Plaines Mayor's Time Trial Challenge,
where Mayor Marty Moylan will challenge residents, racers and local celebrities
to beat his time racing one lap(one mile) around the Tour de Villas course!
A prize of $100 will be given to the person with the fastest time around the course.
The entry fee for this fun event is a suggested donation of $50 and
all proceeds will be donated to the Salvation Army.
Registration for this event is only on the day of the race and is limited to a maximum of 30 participants.
Lutheran General Trauma Service Department will be selling Bell helmets for $10 at the Tour de Villas race from
7:45 to 11:00. These helmets normally sell for $40 and are available for anyone to purchase.
The Trauma Service Department hopes everyone takes advantage of this great discount to help alleviate potential head trauma and to raises awareness of safety while cycling. Helmets of various sizes and colors will be offered, so please bring your family and friends who could benefit from this great offering.

COURSE: 1-mile oblong, flat course with wide roads. On East and West Grant Drive, Des Plaines, IL.
Start/Finish at intersection of East Grant Dr & Hoffman Parkway, racing counter-clockwise.
DIRECTIONS:
From Chicago: Talcott Ave-Algonquin Rd to Wolf Rd. or I90 to exit Lee St, north to West Touhy Rd (IL72), west
on Touhy Rd to Wolf Rd, north to Algonquin Rd.
From
Rockford: I90 to exit Arlington Heights Rd North, north to Algonquin Rd.
east on Algonquin Rd to Wolf Rd.
From Kenosha: South on I94, to exit IL58-Golf Rd, turn left on River Rd, right on IL58-Golf Rd, west
on IL58-Golf Rd to roundabout, 3rd exit go onto E Golf Rd/IL-58/N Wolf Rd., turn left onto S. Wolf Rd, south to Algonquin Rd.
PARKING: On street vehicle parking, surrounding streets outside of the course. Please be "quiet, courteous, clean and modest." Click here for map.
REGISTRATION: Opens at 7:30am at the Park Gazebo on Hoffman Parkway. Corner of West Villa Dr and Hoffman Parkway.
Closes 15 minutes prior to each race.

This race is held under ABR Sanction and an ABR Membership
Card is required to race. One day
memberships will be available for only $5.00 at registration. Annual memberships will be available for
$25.00 at registration. (Juniors $10.00)
The Tour de Villas is part of the ABR Summer Slam Weekend.
